DHENKANAL/BHUBANESWAR:Despite one’s position, rank and success, one should never forget the values of one’s motherland. Sambalpur MP and former Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has said that dedicating oneself for the sustainable development of one’s village and region is the true tribute to the motherland.
On the occasion of the auspicious inauguration of the ‘Bimal Mishra Rural Library’ and ‘Bimal Mishra Marg’ built at Dandimal-Sainbiri in Dhenkanal district on Friday, he said that despite his high positions and success, the late Bimal Mishra never forgot his native land. He always thought for the development of Dandimal and Sainbiri regions and took many commendable steps. Shri Pradhan thanked his family for carrying forward this great vision of his and making such a welfare arrangement in the memory of the late Mishra.
The knowledge-enhancing, religious, literary, scientific and competitive books collected in the inaugurated library will help in the spiritual and intellectual development of people of all classes and ages, including tender-minded children. Similarly, the ‘Bimal Mishra Marg’ will directly connect the villagers to the national highway, which will bring a big revolution in the transportation, business and commerce and medical services of the region.
Shri Pradhan appealed, “On this holy eve of Independence Day, let us all take a new resolution for the development of this land. Let us move forward with a well-thought-out development plan to fulfill the dreams and hopes of the local youth. Let us join hands and make the entire Dhenkanal, including Sainbiri, a prosperous, proud and fully developed region.”
