NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has held a detailed a discussion with chiefs and officials of government and private steel industry on role and contribution of steel industry towards strong fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Union Minister Pradhan had advised to take all steps to increase medical oxygen supply from steel plants as well as provide oxygen directly to hospitals from the plant and to build large Covid care facility with oxygen-connected beds to strengthen the healthcare ground.
Steel industry @SAILsteel, @RINL_VSP, @MOIL_LIMITED installing 5000 oxygen-connected beds for Covid infected patients. Similarly 5000 beds with gas oxygen will be installed by @TATASteelLtd, @AMNSIndia, and @jswsteel in total, Pradhan added.
