‘Developed India Sankalp Sabha’ and ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ held to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure

BHUBANESWAR:Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s public service, good governance have proven to be an important milestone in the journey of nation building. From taking charge as the Chief Minister of Gujarat to serving the public as the Prime Minister of the country – his successful and uninterrupted journey of 25 years as the Head of Administration has ushered in a new era in the development history of India. The ‘Developed India Sankalp Sabha’ and ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ organized on the occasion of this historic moment have further strengthened the spirit of India’s potential, poor welfare and public service. The Prime Minister’s directional and inspiring speech at this special event has filled the minds of the entire countrymen with new enthusiasm and energy to fulfill the vision of “Developed India 2047”, said State President Shri Manmohan Samal.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the people of 30 revenue districts of Odisha and the state capital Bhubaneswar today, on the occasion of the successful completion of 25 years of public life and public service. Attending the ”Developed India Resolution Meeting” held at Kargil Ground in Bhubaneswar, State President Shri Samal said that the core principles of the Prime Minister’s rule in the last 25 years have been ”Service, Good Governance and Poor Welfare”. Under his leadership, the fruits of development have reached even those standing at the ends of the country. Modiji’s commitment to building a developed India from the ground up will definitely be successful. The Prime Minister’s speech on the occasion of the Developed India Resolution Meeting made it clear that the combined resolve of 140 crore countrymen is the greatest force to make the country self-reliant, prosperous and a world-class nation in the coming days. We express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Honorable Prime Minister for his inspiring leadership, vision and dedicated service. Under his continuous guidance, India will reach new heights of development and the dream of ”Developed India” will definitely be realized, State President Shri Samal asserted.
The leaders, intellectuals, eminent personalities and the public present resolved to dedicate our energy, talent and determination to build a developed India, as citizens of India.
Joining the Seva Jyoti Yatra held to mark the completion of 25 years of successful and uninterrupted public service as the Chief Minister of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, State President Shri Samal along with other senior leaders installed the Seva Jyoti at a square near Pokhariput DAV School. ‘Seva Jyoti Chack’ has been installed as a memorial to the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Developed India Sankalp Sabha’. This square has been named as Seva Jyoti Chack from today.
The naming and installation of this special square will keep the Prime Minister’s ideals, welfare of the poor, continuous public service and the vision of “Developed India” alive. This place will provide continuous inspiration to the citizens to contribute to nation building through cleanliness, social responsibility and public participation and will encourage them to reiterate their commitment to realize the dream of “Developed India”, said State President Shri Samal.

Similarly, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, while participating in the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ organized today in Khordha, the land of history, bravery and great pride, expressed his deep respect and gratitude for the unwavering service attitude, visionary leadership and boundless dedication towards the motherland of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Hon’ble Chief Minister mentioned in his speech that exactly 25 years ago, i.e. on 7th October 2001, Narendra Modi ji took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and took the resolve to serve the nation as the Head of Administration. Prime Minister Modi ji has dedicated himself not as a ruler, but as the “Pradhan Sevak” of 140 crore people. Through his uninterrupted service as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first 13 years and as the Prime Minister for the last 12 years, he has made India a strong, prosperous and decisive nation. The people of Odisha have enthusiastically participated in the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ that began on September 17. The people of the state wished the Prime Minister by lighting 1 crore lamps in the ‘Aashirbad Ki Diya’ program.
A new record has been created in the country by collecting 8,810 units of blood. Extensive social awareness programs have been organized under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The Chief Minister outlined major schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat, which are being implemented based on the Prime Minister’s philosophy of “Public Service is Human Service, and Human Service is Human Service is Madhav Seva”. In his speech, the Chief Minister presented the success of major schemes of the state government like ‘KG to PG’, ‘Ayushman Bharat’ and ‘Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana’, ‘Subhadra Yojana’, ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibah Yojana’, ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangal Yojana’, ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ and ‘Antoday Griha’ Yojana, ‘Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana’, ‘PM-Kisan’ and ‘CM-Kisan’. The first and main goal of the state government is to build a prosperous, empowered and self-reliant Odisha by 2036 to realize the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Developed India 2047’ from a developed Odisha. The Chief Minister has called upon all the workers and the people of the state to work together so that the benefits of every scheme of the government reach the people standing in the last row of the society. After this, he installed a service lamp at the square near the new bus stand. The exhibition organized at the State Office on the occasion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Head of State was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble State President Shri Manmohan Samal, State Co-incharge Dr. Swadesh Singh. The exhibition will be open to the public for the next three days.
