BHUBANESWAR:The people of Odisha will never tolerate the derogatory comments made on social media against the popular Chief Minister of the state, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. A person named Shri Sunil Jena, who is posting on social media by introducing himself as a journalist, is using many abusive words on social media to defame the popular Chief Minister of the state, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
He is posting false and misleading information by making unconstitutional words, insulting and obscene comments, which is a punishable offense. Such a person, who does not know the value of journalism, is creating an unpleasant atmosphere in the society by posting unconstitutional, insulting, obscene and false and misleading information on social media. State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty said that such actions are completely unacceptable in today’s digital era.
Informing the media, Dr. Mohanty said that strict action should be taken under the cyber law against those who are trying to tarnish the image of the Chief Minister by posting such false and misleading information on social media.
Such people who are defaming the profession of journalism by introducing themselves as journalists should be given appropriate punishment. In this regard, a complaint has been filed against Sunil Jena by the BJP at the Bhubaneswar Cyber Police Station today and the police officer has promised the delegation that strict action will be taken on the basis of the complaint, Dr. Mahanty informed.
The delegation included State Vice President Dr. Yatin Mohanty, State Executive Member Shri Jagannath Pradhan, State Media Coordinator Shri Sujit Kumar Das, Legal Cell State Coordinator Shri Jayant Jena and Bhubaneswar District Vice President Shri Susanta Jena, along with many other functionaries.
