CM Launches 9 Citizen Centric Services

BHUBANESWAR:Chief Minister  Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday launched nine citizen centric services of State Transport Authority Odisha under the #5T framework further transforming service delivery. Transport offices of the State have become paperless, enabling citizens to get the services online from any place, any time.

The services include vehicle registration, auto approval of goods & contract carriage permit, special permits for buses, online application of international driving permit, renewal of registration & transfer of ownership in any RTO of State, learners’ license through mobile App. 

The vehicle registration process has been done completely paperless and contactless without requiring to go to RTO office.

The entire process of submission and verification of documents is done digitally, allowing vehicle owners to register vehicles at any Transport office. #5CM hoped that long queues in front of Transport Offices will be a thing of past now. CM said that Govt is committed to provide citizen centric services in a hassle-free manner through online process, system improvement & automation under #5T initiatives.Commerce & Transport Department Government of Odisha
