BOUDH/BHUBANESWAR:On receiving a human rescue call from Thidikhajor village under Charichhaka area of Boudh district, the Charichhaka Fire Service team promptly rushed to the spot to rescue a 3-year-old child who had accidentally locked himself inside a bathroom.
On reaching the location, the Fire Service personnel immediately assessed the situation and initiated a rescue operation. Using a suitable stick through the skylight, the team skilfully operated the door-lock mechanism and successfully opened the bathroom door.
The child was safely rescued and handed over to the family members without any injury. The prompt response, presence of mind and professional skills of the Fire Service personnel helped avert a potentially distressing situation.
