BHUBANESWAR: Central IGP Dr Satyajit Naik on Tuesday attended the 2nd Coordination Committee Meeting at Puri Town Hall for RathYatra 2026, chaired by the Minister of Law, Works & Excise, Prithviraj Harichandan, attended by Panchayati Raj, Drinking Water Departent Minister Rabi Naik, Health and Family Welfare Department Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling , Sports and Youth Serviecs Department Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
Besides that , SJTA Chief Administrator Dr Arbinda Padhee, ADGP Modernisation and Rath Yatra Security chief S Priyadarshi, Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur, Puri Collector Dibyajyoti Parida and SP Prateek Singh also attended the meet.
Discussions focused on robust security, crowd management, and traffic planning to ensure a safe and smooth experience for lakhs of devotees. The meeting also reviewed inter-departmental coordination and ongoing preparations.
