BSF Top Brasses Visits Schools in Capital City ahead of Teachers’ Day

BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, Shri Ashwini Kumar Sharma, DIG (PSO), Offg IG and Shri B B Gusain, DIG, Frontier Headquarter (Special Operation) BSF, Bhubaneswar (Odisha) visited Shanti Sishu Vidyamandir and Sarswati Sishu Vidyamandir, Adimata Colony, Gadakana (Bhubaneswar) respectively in connection with forthcoming Teachers day. Officer conveyed their best wishes and compliments to School teachers and students on the occasion of Teachers Day in advance.

Officers interacted with students and gave a overview about the Origin, Role & Task and functioning of Border Security Force the “INDIAS FIRST LINE OF DEFENCE” and depicted the Glory and pride of this elite Force. They also motivated students to join Force with enthusiasm and enlightened them about the process of recruitment in BSF. Students were also shown BSF documentary for better understanding.

Officers also encouraged them to not only excel in studies but also to participate in various socio-cultural activities, further added that the students are ambassadors of society and have a very vital role to play. A Power point presentation on Drug (Narco) abuse in youths and its consequences was shown to children to make them aware about the ill-effect of use of drugs/narcotics substances. School children and teachers overwhelmed by presentation, speech of Officers and conveyed their vote of thanks for presenting such motivational and important informative session.
