RAJKANIKA/KENDRAPARA: BJD Zilla Parishad Member and member District Planning Board, Jyostnarani Jena was on Sunday visited several isolation centers in Aul, Rajkanika and Rajnagar blocks of Kendrapara and meet Pravasi Odias.
Jena also discussed various issues with local Nodal officers and BDOs and requested them to make all necessary arrangements, so that not single people feel uneasy in Isolation Centres. The senior BJD Women wing leaders also appealed the Pravasi Odias to extend cooperation to the administration in this crisis.
Jena was accompanied by Zilla Parishad members Rabindra Sethi, Jagannath Rout, Sumant Rout and Sarapanchs Subrata Behura, Nirakar Sethi and Pravati Samal.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 and lockdown was imposed, Jena has been very active and moving from place to place in the district and making awareness among local people. She has also been extending cooked food and other essentials to poor with help of a Bhubaneswar based NGO.
