B Prabhakaran’s Wife Kiruthika Prabhakaran Lands in Defence Land Grabbing Controversy, HAL Files FIR at Chandaka PS

    BHUBANESWAR: The Chandaka Police Station  under UPD of Capital City has registered an FIR against Kuruthika Prabhakaran , wife of B Prabhakaran, MD , Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd, which was filed by Defence PSU, HAL-Sunabeda. Kiruthika Prabhakaran’s address was mentioned as 57, New Forest Park, UPD, Bhubaneswar in the FIR with B Prabhakaran as Husband, who owns TEMPL. 2 others also named in FIR.

    “Cases have been registered under sections of 447, 426, 427, 379, 403, 424, 506, 421, 294, 467 and 468 of the IPC-1860,’ a copy of the FIR which was filed at Chandaka PS, is available with www.indianewsdiary.com, said.

    The 2 others including Prabodh Kumar Mishra of Jarasingh, Khurda and Gayadhar Jena of 1124, Jayadeurga Nagar, Bomikhal, Laxmi Sagar, UPD, sources said. Gayadhar Jena , who originally hails from Kendrapara’s Rajkanika-Aul area, had been arrested several times over land dispute issues.

    FIR lodged by Sri Kaleswar Prasad Hota, Chairman, HAL Housing Committee the umbrella body created by employees of HAL Sunabeda for purchase and maintenance of the said landed property.

    The FIR alleged that the accused illegally and mischievously entering in 48 acres land purchased by employees of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Sunabeda (Defence Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Defence).

    Sources said, local Police Station was earlier reluctant to register FIR against Kiruthika Prabhakaran and others but after Court intervens into the issue, Police forced to register FIR against the mighty Prabhakaran.

    Earlier, Kiruthika Prabhakaran had hit headlines for purchasing 228-decimal land patch from one Hrushikesh Das for Rs 6.45 crore, which land originally belongs of Endoument Department and of Lord Lingaraj. The deed of sale was made on November 5, 2021 at Bhubaneswar and still running with controversy.

    Months back, , the Bhubaneswar Tahasildar had written to Executive Officer of Lord Lingaraj Temple to seek ordered to impose section of 144 of CrPC at an illegal construction allegedly carried out by mining contractor B  Prabhakaran under Airfield Police limits of State Capital.

    The Bhubaneswar Tahasildar in  a letter dated 28-01-22 to Executive Officer of Lord Lingaraj Temple mentioned about prohibition of unauthorised construction over deity’s land in Bhimpur Mouza nearby Biju Patnaik International Airport pertaining to Khata no-1935 plot -67 area , AC-1.150 decimals.
