BHUBANESWAR:“I have been given the responsibility of Odisha in-charge for the second time. Coordination between the government and the organization in the state will be emphasized. The party organization will be further strengthened,” said the newly appointed state in-charge, national vice-president and MP, Smt. D. Purandeswari. After taking the new responsibility, the newly appointed state in-charge, Smt. D. Purandeswari, along with the newly appointed co-in-charge and national editor, Dr. Swadesh Singh, visited Odisha for the first time today. Both of them were given a grand welcome and felicitation at the airport by the state BJP. The party leadership congratulated both of them by offering bouquets at the state office.

Later, Smt. Purandeswari attended the ‘Aangan Ki Utsav’ program organized at the Anganwadi Center located in Ward No. 35 under the Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation. Attending this program organized under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Smt. Purandeswari appreciated the services provided by the Anganwadi workers and their contribution in the field of health, nutrition and development of children. She discussed the steps taken by the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to strengthen Anganwadi Centers and provide better nutrition and health services to children, pregnant women and children. Similarly, State Co-incharge Dr. Swadesh Singh attended the ‘Aangan Ki Utsav’ program organized at the Anganwadi Center located in Ward No. 40 under the Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation.
The meeting of party officers, district presidents and district in-charges was held at the state office under the chairmanship of State President Shri Manmohan Samal and in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. Both in-charges Smt. Purandeswari and co-in-charge Dr. Singh were welcomed. Giving information about the meeting, State General Secretary Shri Biranchi Narayan Tripathi said that in today’s meeting, State General Secretary (Organization) Shri Manas Kumar Mohanty along with all state officers, district presidents and in-charges and cell coordinators and co-coordinators were present. The meeting especially discussed in detail about the organizational activities of Bharatiya Janata Party Odisha Pradesh, upcoming work plan, upcoming Panchayat and Paara elections.
Shri Tripathi informed that various service-based programs under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” that have been running for a month since September 17, the birthday of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, were reviewed and detailed discussions were held to make other programs that will run till October 17 a success.
Similarly, on October 7, the inspiration of all of us and the unique leader of the world, the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is completing 25 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister of the country. On this occasion, the “Seva Jyoti” program will be held across the country, including 30 districts of Odisha.
A detailed plan has been prepared in today’s meeting to make this day memorable. Shri Tripathi has given instructions on how maximum people of Odisha can participate in this Seva Jyoti program and listen to the successful Prime Minister’s address through virtual medium. The meeting reviewed how the successful Prime Minister’s address can be heard virtually.
During their two-day visit to Odisha, In-charge Smt. Purandeswari and Co-In-charge Dr. Singh are scheduled to participate in various programs under the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in the state and also attend various party organizational meetings, informed Shri Tripathi.
