BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), on Wednesday evening posted a message with a photo on its official social media handle which reads “ Renowned industrialist and social worker Dharmaditya Pattnaik has met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi in the Odisha Legislative Assembly,” .
This was second such development, where CM Majhi sharing for photographs with persons those who directly or indirectly involved in mines and minerals theft in Keonjhar.
On June 24, 2024, CM Majhi shared dais with Dilu Behera, aka Debabrata Behera, who runs Kashiv Group of Companies , and came under scanner of ED, IT, DDM Joda, IBM and Director Mines several times while on March 12, CM seen posing for a photo with another tainted business man Julia Pattnaik aka Dharmaditya Pattnaik who is family relative of Mining scam key players Dipti Patnaik and Indrani Patnaik.
One Rajesh Jaiswal and Mata Jaiswal now taken over entire transport system of Odisha Mining Corporation run Mines after Mohan Charan Majhi came to power in June , 2024. Several local BJD leaders also engaged their Trucks in OMC run mines; sources said and constructed Hotels in Ranchi in Jharkhand. Since Raja Chakra under EOW scanner, Rajesh Jaiswal and Mata Jaiswal, local BJD leaders now are calling shots. Details of BJD leaders those who also engaged in the transport business will be brought to public notice soon.
In November, 2024, IT sleuths had conducted raids for 2 days on Julia Patnaik and office in connection with transactions relating to the purchase of Iron Ore from SN Mohanty Groups.
Once Majhi had said, all those who involved in Odisha Mining Scam , will be brought to the scrutiny of Judiciary while Deputy CM KV Singh Deo who had promised that BJP will reach to the logical conclusion of Odisha Mining Scam, also seen sharing photo with tainted industrialist even inside Assembly.
Who is Julia Patnaik is known to everyone in Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar and Paradip ? it seems, mining scam key players Dipti Patnaik and B Prabhakaran now desperate to establish their network in BJP administration through such type of photo pose ceremony, sources said.
On the other hand, trouble mounted for BJD leader Raja Chakra as the Orissa High Court on Wednesday rejected his anticipatory bail petition in connection with the alleged mining irregularities and a transport scam in Keonjhar district. According to sources, the court has also rejected the bail application of four associates of Chakra.
