BHUBANESWAR:A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Mission Shakti Department and the Tourism and Hospitality Skills Council. This campaign will play a major role in creating maximum ‘Lakshapati Didi’ in the state, said Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Parvathi Parida.
As per the MoU, women self-help groups will be trained for entrepreneurship in the field of tent rental and catering management services.
They will be trained on various issues such as sustainable management of business units, professional development, issuance of FSSAI certification, preparation of DPR, purchase of equipment, business growth, etc. 4,000 women members of one thousand self-help groups will be trained on food supply, event management, tent and catering services. An outlay of Rs. 9.3 crore has been made for this scheme.
