BHUBANESWAR:A 23-year-old woman has alleged that a person established physical relations with her on 28.10.2026 at a lodge situated within the jurisdiction of Nayapalli Police Station, Bhubaneswar, on the false promise of marriage.
On the basis of the complaint, Nayapalli PS Case No. 902 dated 05.11.2026 U/s 69 BNS has been registered and investigation was taken up.
During investigation, the accused, a 31-year-old Police Personnel presently posted at SOG and native of Jajpur district, has been arrested today and forwarded to the Hon’ble Court.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
