On Friday, (Two) 2 female Maoist cadres and (Seven) 7 male members of Maoist organisation namely (1) Yoggi Madvi @ Jyoti (Age- 20 / F) PM (2) Pozze Madvi (PM) (Age-22/F) (3) Bhima Kadti (Age-22/M) (4) Bhima Banjam (Age-25/M) (5) Bandi Banjam (Age-30/M) (6) Arma Raba (Age-30/ M) (7) Malla Madvi (age-29/ M) (8) Deba Kadti (Age-25/M ) (9) Ayata Madvi (Age-26/M) all are from Muler village under PS- Phulbakdi, Dist.- Dantewada of Chhattisgarh state. Surrendered before JN Pankaj IGP (Southern Range) Berhampur Odisha at Boudh district

BERHAMPUR /BHUBANESWAR:    On Wednesday, (Two) 2 female Maoist cadres and (Seven) 7 male members of Maoist organisation namely (1) Yoggi Madvi @ Jyoti (Age- 20 / F) PM (2) Pozze Madvi (PM) (Age-22/F) (3) Bhima Kadti (Age-22/M) (4) Bhima Banjam (Age-25/M) (5) Bandi Banjam (Age-30/M) (6) Arma Raba (Age-30/ M) (7) Malla Madvi (age-29/ M) (8) Deba Kadti (Age-25/M ) (9) Ayata Madvi (Age-26/M) all are from Muler village under PS- Phulbakdi, Dist.- Dantewada of Chhattisgarh state. Surrendered before JN Pankaj IGP (Southern Range) Berhampur  Odisha  at Boudh district.

Yoggi Madvi @ Jyoti who joined Maoist party in 2019 was working as a Party Member. She was the personal security guard of Sila @ Nagmani @ Lalita (DVC) who is an active leader of 8th Company of KKBN Division working in Boudh district. Pozze Madvi (PM) joined Maoist party in 2020 both the cadres were coming with the contact of Vikesh @ Jagdish (DVC) Commander of 8th Company, KKBN division of Boudh district.

The other 7 Members were also working as Party Member in Maoist organisation. They have surrendered to live a normal life. According to them, they were disturbed and frustrated by the continuous unethical activities in Maoist organisation like sexual harassment of female cadre, extortion of funds through intimidation, promoting Ganja cultivation and smuggling, taking levy from Ganja mafias and induction of young boys and girls in the organisation by false promise and propaganda.

They also expressed that they were disillusioned by the high-handed activities and rude behaviour of senior leaders towards the lower rank cadre. They were also attracted towards the policies of the government for the development and upliftment of the tribal people.
