BHUBANESWAR: With proactive SP Brijesh Rai working overtime, gamblers are on run in Ganjam. Keeping in view of hassle free Puja festival, Ganjam Police has conducted massive raids on gambling dens from 01.10.2022 to 10.10.22.
During the raid, Police detected 162 gambling cases at various PS jurisdictions & seized Cash of Rs .27,29,240/-with apprehension of 882 gamblers.
Backed by crack down, and proactive role of Ganjam SP Rai and Berhampur SP, Saravana Vivek M, coupled with timely intervention of Southern IGP Satyabrata Bhoi, gamblers are now spending sleep nights in this southern district and facing either arrest and or deserting the district fearing possible arrest.
