BHUBANESWAR:   Addressing the Nijukti Parba of 421 newly recruited Odisha Civil Services officers, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that every thought and action of the new recruits should be directed towards betterment and welfare of the people, citing that people are at the centre of the democratic system.    

CM said that they are not just civil servants but the agents of transformation for a NewOdisha, an empowered Odisha. CM called them the true architect of vision of Odisha for the year 2047. CM said the State Govt is focusing on recruitment drive for the youth & most of the departments have been following regular calendar to fill up their vacancies.

As many as 1269 civil services officers have been recruited in the last 5 years, CM informed. Welcoming the officers, CM inspired them to work hard and stay committed. CM added that each one of them is now going to play a vital role in realising the collective dream of an inclusive and empowered Odisha.   

CM also launched the Quarter Management System 2.0 developed by CMGI as an initiative of GAPG Department under 5T principles. This will be a complete faceless end-to-end online quarter management solution for all stakeholders. CM expressed hope that with the unwavering effort, dedication and hard work of the newly recruited officers, the vision of a transformed Odisha will be achieved sooner.
