BHUBANESWAR: The final day function of 40th Odisha Metalliferous Mines Safety Week 2022-23 was hosted by IMFA on 10th Feb.2023 at Mahagiri Enclave, Kaliapani, Jajpur where Mr. Pravat Kumar -DGMS attended as the Chief Guest along with Mr. Krishnendu Mandal, DMS-Bhubaneswar Region, Mr. C R Ray, Nominated Owner & WTD of IMFA, Mr. Sandeep B Narade, Head- Mining BU and other dignitaries were present.
In this programme around 50 nos of mines and 15 nos. of Contractor’s representatives had participated for sharing their best prctices. Sukinda and Mahagiri Mines received multiple 1st prizes in different categories such as Best Mock drill, Training, Health & Welfare, Safety Compliance & Swechhata, General working and Maintenance. Here, more than 800 people took part in the function.
