BHUBANESWAR: 4 more accused have been arrested in the Police SI eaminstaion scam in Odisha.
Three others have been arrested along with the most wanted Muna Mohanty. The three are Sukant Maharana, Soumya Priyadarshini and Abhimanyu Dora.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu Dora of Dasapalla was providing security to the accused. Soumya Priyadarshini was working as an accomplice by recruiting candidates and destroying evidence.
All the scam plans were modularized in Digha and Hyderabad. After Hyderabad, the candidates would have gone for the Digha module. Digha rooms were booked for 110 candidates. Arvind Das, who was leading the Digha module, has already been arrested. Arvind’s house is in Balasore, while Soumya’s house is in Dhenkanal district. Muna Mohanty was reporting to Shankar Parshti, the head of the corruption.
Including these four, the police have already arrested a total of 121 people. The Crime Branch ADG has informed that four expensive vehicles have been seized from Dasapalla in Nayagarh district in this case.
