BHUBANESWAR: 151st State Level Single Window Clearance Authority meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Gar in Bhubaneswar on Thursday has approved Sree Metaliks Bio Energy Ltd’s Rs 150 crore Investment Proposal in Balasore in Odisha.
Sree Metaliks Bio Energy Ltd plan to invest Rs 150 Crore to set up a 6,600 TPA Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) production facility in Baleshwar in Odisha. The project is expected to generate approximately 100 jobs.
Sree Metaliks Bio Energy Ltd is a subsidary entity linked to the promoters/directors of Sree Metaliks Limited , an integrated iron and steel manufacturer headquartered in Barbil, Odisha, operating captive mines and manufacturing units in Keonjhar and Angul.Sree Metaliks Bio Energy Ltd focused on clean and renewable energy projects.
Additional Chief Secretary Industry, Home and IPR Department Hemant Sharma, Development Commissioner DK Singh and other senior officials were among those present.
It may be noted here that on October 14, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had joined the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Sree Metaliks Ltd’s Rs 1,575 Crore Steel Making Project in Kendujhar through Vedio conference during a function held at Kaling Nagar Industrial Belt in State’s Jajpur district.
Led by Eminent Industrialist and Steel tycoon Mr Mahesh Kumar Agarawal, Sree Metaliks Ltd will invest Rs 1,575 Crore in this project which will create around 950 to 1000 jobs in Kendujhar, home turf of Chief Minister Mr Mohan Charan Majhi.
The projects included Sponge Iron Plant, Blast Furnace , Steel Melting Shop, Rolling Mill and Captive power plant.
CM Majhi had hoped that Sree Metaliks Ltd Project will further revitalise Kendujhar Industrial growth and prosperity. Sree Metaliks Ltd Chairman Mr Mahesh Kumar Agarwal thanked Odisha Government for extending time help for the Ground Breaking Ceremony.
