12 -Members High Level Committee led by former SC Judge Justice Arijit Pashayat to look into Shree Lord Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar issue

PURI/BHUBANESWAR:  After ending all speculations and gossips, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has formed a 12 -members high-level committee under the chairmanship of Justice Arijit Pashayat, former judge of the Supreme Court to oversee the preparation of the inventory of the jewellery and various valuables in the Ratna Bhandar.The decision was taken according to the order of Odisha High Court regarding Shree Lord Jagannath Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar.

Other members of this committee are-Renowned cardiologist Dr. Ramakant Panda, Vice President, Dr Bidhubhushan Samal, former CMD of Allahabad Bank, Mr. A.K. Sabat, Chartered Accountant,Puri Gajapati Maharaja Shri Dibyasingha Deb, Representative of Shri Dibyasingha Deb, Chairman of Shree Jagannath Temple Management Committee, Representative of the Archaeological Survey of India.

 Durgaprasad Das Mohapatra, Sevak Representative, Shri Madhab Chandra Mohapatra, Sevak Representative, Shri Jagannath Kar, Sevak Representative, Shri Ganesh Mekap, Bhandar Mekap Sevak, Puri District Collector and Deputy Chief Administrator of Shri Jagannath Temple will serve as the chief administrator of the temple administration members.
