CM announces Healthcare soups for Sundargarh-Jajpur

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced healthcare measures for Sundargarh & Rourkela to contain the spread of #COVID19 including starting a Plasma bank at IGH, ₹15 Cr for strengthening Covid Hospital & Covid Care Centres & expansion of Covid Care Centre in Rourkela from 700-bed to 1700.

CM has also announced ₹5 Cr from CMRF for Sundargarh. CM added that in Rourkela, focus will be on surveillance, door-to-door survey, testing & containment zones. Special attention will be given on slum areas and congested localities. OdishaFightsCorona

For Jajpur, ₹13.5 Cr will be spent from DMF to enhance Covid Care system and 250 beds will be added in Covid Care Centre. There will be partnerships with Corporates & Industries to set up CCHs & CCCs. CM also said that ₹5 Cr has been sanctioned from CMRF to fight the pandemic,Odisha CMO tweeted.
