BHUBANESWAR: BJP in Odisha has alleged that BJD leader and close aid of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, VK Pandian has defied the RP Act-1951 and IT Act-2000 as well as flagrantly violated the Code of Conduct of Elections by criticizing the Prime Minister in the election meeting by telling lies about 2 crore jobs in the last two days and subsequently by circulating the video on social media. According to the decision of the National Election Commission on May 6th, it is a punishable crime. Lying, the Prime Minister’s speech in Parliament about giving 2 crore jobs without knowing it has been widely circulated on YouTube. There is a video of what the Prime Minister said. But without listening to him, first give the answer of where he got the idea of giving 2 crore jobs to the clerk? This has damaged the honor of the Prime Minister. Action should be taken against him immediately. The BJP delegation, under the leadership of former state president Mr. Sameer Mohanty, approached the chief election officer of the state with evidence for such a mistake by Gumasta.
Similarly, there is a booth 8 km away from the Patnagarh assembly constituency in Prulamal village, Salepali block, Balangir district. As a result, common people are facing difficulties in going to vote. By 8 o’clock in the day, when people cannot go out in the rain, how to go 8 km is now creating a big question. The BJP demanded to bring this booth to 2 km immediately.
Niraker Sahu, supervisor of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, is campaigning for the BJD party while in the government job. Mr. Sahu is holding 2 conches and telling the people to vote for BJD MLA candidate , former BJP State President Samir Mohanty demanded that Mr. Sahu should be suspended as soon as possible.
It is bad to campaign for election without proper news. The chief minister’s clerk has lost his sense of self-interest to win over the BJD party. The chief minister’s assistant is at number 2 in the list of star campaigners of BJD. This clerk is preaching BJD against all laws. The fear of losing is so strong that they do not know the difference between right and wrong. Government officials are also being used for partisan campaigning and are abusing government power. For the past 25 years, BJD has misled Odisha by showing such false propaganda, but this time, the orthodox people have woken up, which the BJG officials could not tolerate and are shouting at the Prime Minister.
State Secretary Kasturi Mishra, State Spokesperson Dilip Mallik, State Media Coordinator Sujith Kumar Das, State Election Cell Coordinator Jayant Jena, Senior Leader Ms. Rashmi Mahapatra, Ms. Sangita Das were prominently present in this delegation.
