BHUBANESWAR: The 5T-Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Kartik Pandian visited various Colleges of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar as per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday.
He attended NuaO Scholarship Distribution Programme in Ravenshaw University, J.K.B.K. College & Shailabala Women’s College in Cuttack and Ekamra Degree College, Kamala Nehru Women’s College, Maharshi College of Natural Law and Rajdhani Degree College in Bhubaneswar.
Pandian informed students about the NuaO Scholarship under which all eligible PG & UG Students from State Government Universities, Government Colleges, non-Government aided and unaided Colleges will be benefitted. As many as 8,116 eligible students from Cuttack and 5,358 eligible students from Bhubaneswar received scholarships worth about ₹8.13 Cr and ₹5.26 Crore respectively. During interaction with students the 5T Chairperson said Government’s next major initiative will be to cover all the students through the launching of the futuristic NabinOdishaMagicCard, which will engage & empower youths and enable them towards academic development, personality development, skill development and employment. Pandian conveyed the message of CM, who wished the students all the best for their future & said that this initiative would help to achieve the dream of NuaOdisha.
