NEW DELHI: BJP Lok Sabha candidate for Kurukshetra Parliamentary seat and eminent Industrialist, Naveen Jindal has thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah and his office for their prompt action at the Singhu border.
The senior BJP leader Naveen Jindal had drawn the attention of Commissioner of Police, Delhi Sanjay Arora, DCP Delhi (West ) and Delhi Traffic Police in this regard and had urged their urgent attention. The BJP Kurukshetra Parliamentary seat candidate Naveen Jindal’s intervention came after a writ petition was filed by three Panipat residents.
Finally, the Delhi Police have begun breaking the concrete walls at the Singhu border, bringing relief to thousands of commuters after 66 days. Sources said it would take more than three-four days to make the highway fit for smooth flow of traffic.
The senior BJP leader Naveen Jindal, who also heads OP Jindal Global University and Flag Foundation of India, on April 15, in a social media post , had mentioned about traffic problem at the Singhu border. Soon after the X post by Naveen Jindal, office of Union Home Minister Amit Shah immediately swung into action and solved the matter while directing Delhi Police to do the needful.
‘Grateful to Shri AmitShah Ji and the Office of the Home Minister for their prompt action at the Singhu border. Their immediate intervention is a boon for the millions of commuters relying on that route daily. Thank you for restoring order and ensuring smoother journeys ahead,” the senior BJP leader said.
Earlier in a X post, the senior BJP leader Naveen Jindal had mentioned that ‘Dear CP Mr Arora , I wanted to bring to your knowledge that Singhu border is completely mismanaged due to blocking the bridge and hardly any traffic police to manage the traffic there . We just wasted an hour there going towards Haryana from Delhi . Hope you will take care of this issue,”.
