STF seizes fake note worth 15.12 Lakh in Sambalpur

BHUBANESWAR: On the basis of reliable information, STF with the help of Sambalpur District Police detected a case of illegal business of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) on 12.07.2022 at village Nua Adhapada under Jujumara Police Station Dist. Sambalpur, as a result of which two accused persons namely Podar Prasad Sahu, S/o. Late Krutibash Sahu of Nua Adhapada PS. Jujumara Dist. Sambalpur and Janmajaya Bagh, S/o. Late Jhumar Bagh of Burda PS. Jujumara Dist. Sambalpur were apprehended.

 During search, Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) of Rs.15,12,500/- (Fifteen Lakhs twelve thousand Five hundred only), two numbers Laptop, One Color Printer and other incriminating articles were recovered and seized from their possession.

A case has been registered at Jujumara Police Station for necessary legal action. This refers to Jujumara Police Station Case No. 104 dated 13.07.2022 U/S. 489-A/489-B/489-C/489-D/120(B) IPC. Investigation is
