BHUBANESWAR:Today, State Director General of Police Shri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania launched a new website built with modern technology to further strengthen the public service and transparency of Odisha Police. The DGP launched the website, which is prepared in both Odia and English languages, at a special program organized at the State Police Headquarters. He expressed that this website will be very useful for the common man in the coming days and through it people will be able to get very important information of the police department.
The new website provides various online services to the general public, including police information, notices, press releases, employment related information, traffic and safety awareness, civic services, crime prevention measures, important information, legal provisions, messages.
This new website will further strengthen the communication between the Odisha Police and the general public. This bilingual (Odia and English) website will enable the general public to access police related information and services easily, conveniently and quickly. The general public can access various information by opening this website through computers, laptops, mobile apps.
Director, SFSL, Dr. Santosh Bala, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Shri Sanjay Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Shri Pratik Mohanty, DIG (Provisioning) Shri Charan Singh Meena, along with all the district SPs and senior officers of the battalions were present through VC.
