BHUBANESWAR: Like the Directorate of Intellect of Odisha Police, CID-CB too facing staff crunch with 82 posts at various levels are lying vacant.
Information sought through RTI by activist, Pradip Pradhan revealed that, besides, 82 vacancies, 7 staffs working on contractual basis in CID-CB. The vacancy of 82 posts included Group (A)-3, Group-(B)-25, Group(C)-20 and Group(D) 34.
On the other hand, Odisha Directorate of Intelligence is running with shortage of staffs. As per information sought through RTI by activists, Pradip Pradhan, as many as 521 posts are lying vacant at Directorate of Intelligence.
These vacant posts included Range Officer – 11, Special Branch -253 Special Intelligence Wing- 124 and Security Wing- 133 .
Meanwhile, 2 contractual staffs also working. These included 1 follower orderly appointed in SIW on contractual basis as per order of Orissa HC while another contractual follower orderly posted to Security wing against permanent post in RS scheme.
