BERHAMPUR: Berhampur Police destroyed 745.85 Kg of seized contraband Ganja in connection with 04 numbers of cases of K Nuagaon, Berhampur, Golanthara & Town PSs at M/S Mediaid Marketing Service located at Arakhapada, under Seragada, in Ganjam, Odisha in presence of Drug Disposal Committee Members consisting of Dr Saravana Vivek M, Chairman, Superintendent of Police, Berhampur, Ramendra Narayan Naik, (Member-1), Superintendent of Excise, Berhampur, Subhashree Rath, (Member-2), Deputy Collector, O/o the Sub-Collector, Berhampur & Sri Akshaya Kumar Nayak, (Member Convener), Dy SP Headquaters./Crime, Berhampur.
Earlier under the supervision of Drug Disposal Committee, on various dates, a huge amount of seized contraband Ganja weighing of 4864.46 Kg & Brown Sugar weighing of 9.48 Gm was destroyed. The Berhampur Police also in process to destroy 1383.8 Kg Ganja & Brown Sugar weighing of 39.15 g in near future.
