Shree Mandir Parikrama Project Inauguration-SJTA Chief Administrator meets Puri Seer at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh

With Odisha Government making all out efforts to give a final touches to preparation for Shree Mandir Parikrama Project Inauguration ceremony slated from January 15 to 17 at holy city of Puri, Shree Lord Jagannath Temple Administration has handed an invitation card to Puri Seer Jagadaguru Swami Nischalananda Saraswati at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

PURI/BHUBANESWAR:  With Odisha Government making all out efforts to give a final touches to preparation for Shree Mandir Parikrama Project Inauguration  ceremony slated from January 15 to 17 at holy city of Puri,  Shree Lord Jagannath Temple Administration officials have formally invited Puri Seer Jagadaguru Swami Nischalananda Saraswati and urged for his presence during meeting at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

SJTA Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Das, Temple Managing Committee members Ashok Mohapatra, Durga Prasad Das Mohapatra, Madhab Chandra Mohapatra and Jagannath Singhari met Puri Seer , who is now at Ujjain for some religious activities, requested for his presence during the inauguration ceremony.

 Once the seer back to Odisha, a delegation led by Puri King Gajapati Maharaj Dibya Singh Dev will be meeting him to hand over invitation as per the tradition.

 The Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government is hosting a grand event during the inauguration of the beautification of the corridor around the iconic Jagannath Temple in Puri from January 15 to 17, just a few days before the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

The Shree Mandira Parikrama Project (SMPP) adjoining the Meghanada Pacheri (stone boundary around Jagannath Temple) being built at a cost of ₹943 crore has a 7-metre green buffer zone and a 10-metre pedestrian-only inner circumambulation that will be used for parikrama (clockwise circumambulation) of temple.
