BHUBANESWAR: A BJP fact-finding team which had visited Sambalpur to look into the violence that took place on April 12 and 14, on Tuesday submitted its report to Party National President JP Nadda in New Delhi.
The team, comprising Rajya Sabha members Brij Lal, Samir Oraon and Jyotirmaya Singh Mahato, met Nadda and submitted its report.
Communal violence broke in Sambalpur on April 12, two days before Hanuman Jayanti, when miscreants allegedly hurled stones at a bike rally organised by Hanuman Jayanti Samanyoyo Samiti, which was passing through Motijharan area in western Odisha town. At least 10 policemen and several others were injured in the clash.
