BHUBANESWAR: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the Kshetriya (regional) level will be held in Bhubaneswar on 25-26 November at the Terapanth Bhawan in the presence of Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Bhaiyyaji Joshi. The meeting for the Eastern region (Purva Kshetra) would be attended by 35 members from West Bengal, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
As per Sangh’s organisation structure, the country has 11 regions for operational reason. It is noteworthy that this meeting of the Karyakari Mandal is generally held annually near Diwali to review the ongoing organisational activities and to discuss the future plans. Those who attend the meeting include Prant Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks and above.This year the national level meeting was scheduled to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
In view of the changed circumstances it was decided that this meeting should be held at regional level and not at national level following all the government guidelines. This is happening for the first time.The Bhubaneswar meeting would last for two days in which there will be a discussion and review of the service work done by the Swayamsevaks during Covid-19 pandemic. Along with this, important and contemporary issues related to impact of Covid-19 on common people’s lives, education, health, selfreliance, Swadeshi etc. will also be discussed. In the context of changed circumstances, the ongoing daily activities and programmes of Sangh being carried out for the last 95 years will also be discussed.
