BHUBANESWAR: BJP on Monday held demonstration and submitted a memorandum to Police Commissioner, SK Priyadarshi requesting him to make public of names of big people involved in Archana Nag Chand’s Honeytrap Scandal.
BJP workers led by Bhubaneswar District President Babu Singh and senior leader Jagannath Pradhan , however alleged that police playing dubious role while many bigwigs involved in the scandal moving freely.
“We have requested CP to reveal the names of big people involved in the racket and conduct a fare probe into the issue,” BJP leader Babu Singh said.

Meanwhile, earlier, in a major jolt to Honeytrap Blackmailer Archana Nag Chand , the Bhubaneswar SDJM court on Monday rejected the bail application of Archana Nag who has been arrested for allegedly honeytrapping many high-profile people and extorting money. She appeared before the court virtually through videoconferencing. As a result of rejection of her bail application, she will be kept at the Jharpada Special Jail here.
Nag was arrested on October 6 on charges of extorting money from several influential persons after honey-trapping them. She had moved the SDJM Court for bail on October 10.
Meanwhile, with as many as 5 cases registered at various police stations in Capital City of Bhubaneswar, police is all set to approach Bhubaneswar SDJM court for 5-days remand of Honeytrap Blackmailer Arachana Nag Chand. Police have arrested her under Sections 341, 328, 324, 354 – C, 370, 386/387/388, 389, 419/420, 465, 506, 120 – B of IPC and Section 66 -E, 67 of IT Act.
Sources said, Khandagiri Police is likely to take Arachana, now lodged at Jharpada Special Jail here, on 5-days remand for questioning in connection with her Honeytrap scandal , in which , she trapped many bigwigs including several senior leaders of ruling BJD and Opposition BJP and Congress, besides, leading business men and film makers.
Police is likely to quiz her at Jharpada Jail considering security reasons, sources said. A 3-members woman Police will interrogate her. Police have also prepared possible questionnaire, which is to be asked to Arachana. Police may also quiz Arachana’s Husband, Jagabadhu Chand’s family members. A Special team will leave soon for interrogation.
