BHUBANESWAR: Prof Dr Rekha Das, Medical Superintendent & Incharge ICU at Acharya Harihar PGI Cancer Hospital & Director Shanti Memorial Hospital was recently honoured at the prestigious event-“Times Women Achievers of Odisha 2024” on the 7th of March , marking the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The event was organised by The Times Group, to recognise and honour the achievements of women in different fields. Dr Rekha Das was felicitated for her contribution in the field of critical care, by noted Bollywood celebrity Divya Dutta. Dr Rekha Das was also a panelist in their healthcare discussion.
Prof. Dr Rekha Das is an Intensive care expert with an experience of 30 years in the field. Past president of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists -Odisha & current Governing Council Member ISA National, she is also the Founder & Past Secretary for The Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine , Cuttack branch.She has several publications in indexed journals and books.
Clinical member of the Ethics Committee at Shanti Memorial Hospital, she is a woman of profound knowledge and tremendous perseverance. She is incessantly working towards improving the intensive care ambience along with its efficiency.
