BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Government on Sunday issued an official notification regarding abolition on contractual recruitment in the State.
Earlier, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced about this. The General Administration and Public Grievances Department has issued notification in this regard.
The unification said, in exercise of powers conferred by proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor of Odisha, is pleased to make the following rules to repeal the Odisha Group-B, post(Contractual Appointment) Rules 2013 and the Group(C) and Group(D) posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules 2013 and to provide special provisions to regulate the services of the employees appointed on contractual basis.
These rules may be called the Odisha Group-B, C and D posts (Repeal and Special Provisons) Rules-2022, it said.
