BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma has all his praise for Jindal Steel and Power Chairman Naveen Jindal for the single largest investment in the State and establishing largest steel plant at Angul in the State. Sharma said while addressing the Make in Odisha Conclave -2022, joint hosted by Odisha Government and FICCI, here at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
‘I must thank to JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal for the single largest investment and as well as establishing largest steel plant,” Industry Secretary Sharma said. JSP aims to expand the Angul steel plant’s capacity from 6 MTPA to 25.2 MTPA by 2030 ,which will be the largest Plant in the World in a single location as per present capacities.
Sharma also thanked other big investors like JSW Chairman Sajjan Jindal, AMNS’s Laxmi Mittal, Tata Group’s TV Narendra and Aditya Birla Group for keep their trust on Odisha and continued investment.
JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal will address a session of mining and metal sectors along with JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal, NALCO CMD, Sridhar Patra, L N Mittal, Executive Chairman, Arcelor Mittal, Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Resources Limited, Sajjan Jindal, Chairman, JSW Group, , T V Narendran, CEO&MD, Tata , MGM Minerals Ltd Chairman Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and few others at the Conclave. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also joined the session and will talk with Industry captains along with Industry , MSME and Energy Minister Pratap Deb. Chief Secretary SC Mohapatra and Principal Secretary Industries Hemant Sharma have already adrdressed the session.The State Government expecting to receive intents worth more than Rs 6 lakh Crore during the meet.
