ANGUL/BHUBANESWAR:  Odisha Industry, Energy and MSME Minister Pratap Keshari Deb, who was in Angul to unfurl the National flag on occasion of 77th Independence Day at Police Training College Ground, has all his praise for Jindal Steel and Power Chairman Naveen Jindal and JSP Foundation Chairperson, Shallu Jindal for their remarkable CSR works in this coal bearing district.

Minister Pratap Deb attended several socio cultural functions and inaugurated SPARSA, the path breaking collaborative initiative between Angul District Administration and JSP Foundation to control MMR and IMR. Angul Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain, SP Sudhansu Sekhar Mishra, JSP’s President & Group Head CSR Prashant Kumar Hota and others were among those present. Minister Deb appreciated such noble works of JSP and and its CSR Wing, JSP Foundation.

200 Anganwadi Sub-center In-charges received Digital Pregnancy Kits with Real Time Data Capturing features on Tuesday in Angul . This will empower and trained Grassroot Health Workers to combat high-risk pregnancies and  support lactating mothers.

These Kits contain BP instrument, Oxymeter  Glucometer, Urine Anslysis,Foetus Heartbeat monitor,Digital weight machine,   Mobile &Software for RealTime Capture of Data.This will help to identify high risk pregnancies, take immediate corrective steps for safe motherhood.

It may be noted here that, JSP Foundation has been effectively addressing the need specificities of the underprivileged and weaker section and implementing multifaceted and multi-dimensional sustainable social development projects to improve their quality of life across the country.

Sources said, Minister Deb also launched the SAMBHAV (Sustainable Approach for eliminating Mental & Behavioral Health-Associated Vulnerability) initiative on the 77th Independence Day, bringing sustainable mental health care to the people of Angul.

He also visited Angul Aluminum Park with Collector and discussed with the officials regarding its present status, expansion scenario and various growth aspects of Angul Aluminium Park.
