Odisha Cricket Association to Prepare DPR by January 2024 for complete development of Historic Barabati Stadium with an investment of around Rs 700 crore

OCA Vice President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Secretary Sanjay Behera , informed about the development soon after the end of the Annual General Meeting of the OCA held at the Stadium premises on Sunday under the chairmanship of OCA President Pranab Prakash Das.

CUTTACK:  With President Pranab Prakash Das, Vice President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Secretary Sanjay Behera taking the lead, Odisha Cricket Association along with State Government, have decided to develop the Historic Barabati Cricket Stadium as a world-class stadium with an investment of Rs 600 to Rs 700 crore. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared by January 2024.

OCA Vice President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty and Secretary Sanjay Behera , informed about the development soon after the end of the Annual General Meeting of the OCA held at the Stadium premises on Sunday  under the chairmanship of OCA President Pranab Prakash Das.

Both Mohanty and Behera said, a detailed projects report (DPR) for complete development of the Barabati Stadium with an investment of about Rs 600 to Rs 700 crore will be done soon.

OCA will get more than Rs 150 crore from Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) Infrastructure Development Fund while the State Government with active support from corporate through their CSR fund, can get the remaining fund required for the mega project.
