Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Reviews Post Cyclone Relief and Rescue Operations

BHUBANESWAR:  Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi was on Saturday held a review meeting at the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner and reviewed the post cyclone situation and rescue and relief efforts taken by the State Government.

CM Majhi said steps have been taken to assess the damage in the affected area and rescue operations have been accelerated.

‘The government is continuing its efforts for communication, relief and electricity supply in the cyclone affected area. The government is fully prepared to improve the situation, he said.

Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, SRC DK Singh, ACS to CM Nikunja Dhal, Agricultture and Farmers Empowerment Secretary Arbinda Padhee , RD and IPR Secretary Sanjay Singh, DG Fire Service Sudhanshu Sarangi and others were among those present.
