BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg reviewed the work of Energy Department and the public sector enterprises in this sector. The Chief Secretary emphasized on ensuring affordable, uninterrupted, reliable and quality electricity service to the people of the state.
Chief Secretary advised the development of 220 KV ring networks in key economic and administrative hubs such as Keonjhar, Jharsuguda-Sambalpur, and Berhampur-Baliguda.
The meeting reviewed the overall performance of the power sector in detail. It discussed issues related to power generation, distribution, power collection, infrastructure development, integration of renewable energy and power generation services.
The meeting witnessed presence of Principal Secretary of the Energy Department Shri Vishal Dev, along with senior officials of OPTCL, GRIDCO, OPGC, and the four TP DISCOMS.
