RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: Today on Saturday, on this auspicious occasion of Shri Shri Vishwakarma Puja, NTPC Coal Mining have entered into an Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) in a function held at Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi.
With this MOA, CIPET will provide job-oriented skill development training to the youths from the project affected families/ local villagers of NTPC’s Coal Mining Projects located in the States of Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
Sh. Pravin Bachhav, Joint Director & Head, CIPET, Ranchi and Sh. KS Murthy, GM(HR), CMHQ have signed this MOA in the august presence of Sh. Partha Mazumder, RED(Coal Mining).
The skill development programme will be in the following 2 branches, consisting of 40 students in each batch, and will be of 6 months’ duration :
- Machine Operator – Plastic Processing,
- Machine Operator – Injection Moulding.
A total of 80 candidates from the Coal Mining project affected population shall be benefited from this initiative of Coal Mining Headquarters.
