BHUBANESWAR: It seems, the Naveen Patnaik led Odisha Government has no mood to pacify the anger of hundreds of outsourcing employees, who were on warpath at Lower PMG Square in Bhubaneswar demanding fulfillment of their various demands including regularisation of jobs. The Service Provider Agencies (SPAs) of the Odisha government were put under ‘Mo Sarkar ’ in February this year.
The employees have been protesting since 2018 seeking fulfilment of our demands. In November last year, the CMO had called them and assured that their demands will be fulfilled within a month but four months have passed nothing has been done except a couple of meetings with the Chief Secretary.
“We will continue our protest until our demands are met,” said Sanjay Patnaik, president of outsourcing employees.
The employees have also urged the government to reinstate their colleagues who were fired from their jobs.
