BHUBANESWAR/PURI: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, a day after skipping his birth day celebration, on Saturday rushed to pilgrimage city of Puri and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath through his representative, Patitapaban from Singhadrwar. Chief Minister has directed to complete the Land acquisition process by 1 January, 2021 and start of work on Shree Jaganatha Heritage Corridor.
“ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ଧାଡ଼ି ଦର୍ଶନକୁ ସହଜ ଏବଂ ବୟସ୍କ ଓ ଭିନ୍ନକ୍ଷମଙ୍କ ସୁବିଧାକୁ ବିଶେଷ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଇ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ବିକାଶ କରାଯାଉଛି। ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ଏବଂ ଭକ୍ତଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ନିରାପତ୍ତା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ୟାଧୁନିକ ବୈଷୟିକ ଜ୍ଞାନକୌଶଳ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବାକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଲି।,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted @Naveen_Odisha. “ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ପୁରୀକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱ ଐତିହ୍ୟ ସହରରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପୁରୀବାସୀ କରିଥିବା ତ୍ୟାଗର ତୁଳନା ନାହିଁ। ଏହି ତ୍ୟାଗକୁ କେବେ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ ହେବାକୁ ଦିଆଯିବ ନାହିଁ। ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଜାତି ଏବଂ କୋଟି କୋଟି ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଭକ୍ତ ଏହି ତ୍ୟାଗ ନିକଟରେ ସର୍ବଦା ଋଣୀ ରହିବେ।ଜୟ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ Folded hands,” he added.
Flanked by Development Commissioner Suresh Mohapatra, 5T Secretary VK Pandian and SJTA Chief Administrator Dr Kishan Kumar, Chief Minister Patnaik reviewed various works being taken up under ABADHA Scheme and visited around the 12th century old majestic Lord Jagannath Temple.

He reviewed in details of all aspects of the Shree Jaganatha Heritage Corridor. He advised to create tree shaded spaces so that Meganand Paccheri Parikrama is comfortable with special emphasis on universal access.Patnaik directed that devotees should be able to have hassle free entry through Singh Dwar of temple and adequate arrangements should be made for their comfort when devotees are waiting in queue to go inside temple for Darshan of Mahaprabhu.
The heritage corridor should be designed in such a manner that Person with Disabilities should be able to go around Parikrama on their own. He advised that no utilities like electric substation or control in master plan should be next to Meghanad Paccheri and advised to make adequate arrangements for serving Mahaprasad to large number of people at one go.
