BHUBANESWAR: Former Odisha BJP President Samir Mohanty was on Friday alleged that VK Pandian’s name is in the list of star campaigners of BJD. It proved that he is the number two leader of BJD. He is the new owner of BJD after Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The senior BJP leader Samir Mohnaty said while addressing a press meet along with party leaders like Sajjan Sharma, Dilip Mallick, Sujit Das and Anil Biswal at State Party headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
Mohanty said, the motive behind Naveen Patnaik contesting two seats is to vacate one seat for VK Pandian, the people of Odisha already know this. Voting for BJD this time means bringing VK Pandian into the Odisha Assembly, giving the governance of Odisha in his hands. This is an insult to the Odia people and slap on Odia Asmita.
The people of Odisha have not forgotten how democracy was killed in the last few days. The manner in which MLAs, MPs were disrespected, asked to pitch tents, given the responsibility to arrenge breakfast was unfortunate. This time the people of Odisha will give a befitting reply to the insult to Odisha, Mohanty said.
