BHUBANESWAR: Keeping the interest of tens of thousands of students aspiring to attend the JEE Main and NEET 2020, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who had earlier talked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to differ the exams, was on Sunday appealed to his party Ministers, MLAs and leaders to extend all possible help to candidates in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and flood situation in the State.
As per the announcement, many district administrations have despatched students to concerned examinations centres. Students and parents are being provided free transportation and accommodation facilities for the examinations.
“We now have less than 48 hours for the exams. Children are the future of our country and State. Their safety is our responsibility. The state government has made arrangements for free transportation and accommodation so that they can take the exam well. Do your best to ensure that children in your area take the test at their convenience,” the CM said in his appeal.
