BHUBANESWAR: Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said, her Wardrobe filled with Odisha Handloom, mostly sarees. I loved Sambalpuri saree most but keep Bomkai and Cuttacki saree also, she said during a press conference here. ‘No memory, till I am purchasing Sambalpuri saree , I like most,” she said.
She said, PM Viswakarma Yojana will help Odisha artisan, painters and handloom weavers. Sitharaman was addressing the press after holding post budget discussions.‘We have not at all brought down the procurement of paddy or wheat. The quantum of procurement has gone up in the last 8 yrs & due to high MSP, the total amount given to the farmers is also high,’ she said.
She addressed a post budget session here in Bhubaneswar. She highlighted the budget and growth momentum. States shares also increased, she said.
She interacting with various stakeholders from industry, trade, banking and insurance. She also answered several question put by various corporate and financial institutions.
