BHUBANESWAR: BJD MP Manas Mangaraj has completed one year in India’s Upper House of Rajya Sabha . MP Mangaraj, who is also Party’s General Secretary (Media Affairs), and National Spokesperson, had taken oath on July 8, 2022 as a BJD Rajya Sabha MP. During one year , MP Mangaraj has earned praise and admiration for raising issues relating to Odisha’s interest and progress in National Capital in a very meticulous way.
Mangaraj owed all success and achievements to his leader Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and reiterated his commitment to work for the interest of Odisha and its people.
During his one year in Rajya Sabha, Mangaraj raised many issued related to Odisha’s progress and interest. MP Mangaraj had on several occasions, raised the Kendu leaf GST issue in Parliament’s Upper House, he had also demanded for passenger train service to Kendrapara on Paradip-Haridaspur Railway line, more railway allocation to Odisha, and many issues.
The BJD MP during his one in Rajya Sabha, also raised issues like Jeypore-Nabarangpur, Jeypore-Malkangiri railway lines, Jaleswar-Digha Railway project and many other issues.
‘It has been one year now. A year ago on July 8, 2022, I had taken oath as the Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha to start a new journey. I owe my success and achievements to my leader HCM @Naveen_Odisha who reposed trust in me and my family members who stood by me through thick and thin,’ MP Mangaraj, tweeted on Sunday.
‘I also thank other senior leaders, colleagues, friends and well-wishers for standing firm with me and motivating in my journey. It’s a promise to all that I will continue to discharge my duties, work in the interest of my state and its people and contribute to nation building, he added.
