NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Lord Jagannath Has Always Been Known For Miracles. What Happened Recently In London, When Industrialist Biswanath Patnaik, Instantly Donated Whopping Rs 250 Crore To Shree Jagannath Society United Kingdom (SJSUK) To Build Up a Dedicated Lord Jagannath Temple In London, Has Been Part Of Kalia’s Karishma For Which He Has Been Famous. Here I Thought It Relevant To Narrate Another Miraculous Episode Of GOD Of The Universe Pertaining To His Journey To London Temple. In The Year 2020 , When COVID Was In Full Swing, My Friend Nihar Samantara From Bengaluru Rang Me Up. He Said Prof. Sanjay Satapathy,The Then Professor Of Ravenshaw University Will Call You For Some Help, Please Attend His Call. I Said OK. Prof Satapathy Then Called Me. He Said That I Know Him.
He Had Visited My Delhi Home Once In Connection With Centenary Celebration Of Ravenshaw University. I Recognised Him As A Known Face. He Said He Is In Some Problem And Sought My Help. I Instantly Agreed To Help Him. He Narrated That There Is A Huge Neem Tree In His Official Govt Bunglow In Bhubaneswar. He & His Family Members Were Regularly Worshiping That Tree. There Are All Signs Of GOD’s Pious Presence In That Tree Like No Birds Nest Symbolic Appearance Of The Portraits Of LORDs In The Body Of The Wood. He Is Supposed To Leave The Quarter In March 2021 Owing To His Retirement. So He Wanted To Cut That Tree And Donate To Any Upcoming New Jagannath Temple For Making Of Daru Bigrahas Before He Had To Vacate The Premises. While I Was Talking To Him , It Struck To Me That We Can Approach The Temple Trust Authorities In London. Just Before Some Days My Friend Sukant Sahu From London Had Informed Me About Their Trust And Plan To Build A Fully Exclusive Jagannath Temple In London . Then I Immediately Spoke To Sukant Baboo ,The Chairman Of The Trust, SJSUK Dr Sahadev Swain And General Secretary Dr Prakash Dey .They All Became So Excited And Happy. All Of Them Were Quite Co-Operative And Received The Idea Very Well. They Said We Were All Also In Search Of The Darus For The New Temple And Waiting For Almighty’s To Have Divine Intervention.
Then I Spoke To Nihar Baboo And Arranged A Zoom Meeting To Facilitate The Transition. From Bengaluru The Initiator Nihar Baboo And Justice Jagannath Prasad Udgata Attended The Meeting. Prof Satapathy Was There. From UK Side Chairman Of Shree Jagannath Society United Kingdom, Dr Swain And His Whole Team Were Present. It Was Agreed In The Meeting That Very Soon The Delegation Of London Temple Would Visit Bhubaneswar And Do The Needful Of Performing Rituals, Cutting of The Tree, Making Of Idols In Puri And Then Transporting The Daru Bigrahas To London.
Accordingly Sukant Baboo Came To Bhubaneswar In December 2020 And Did All These Formalities. The Woods Were Then Handed Over To Legendary Sculptor And The then MP Shri Raghunath Mohapatra For Making Of Bigrahas. Unfortunately Shri Mohapatra And His Two Sons Died In Corona. Still Now The GODs In Wood Forms Are Lying In The Workshop Of Shri Mohapatra And Waiting For Their Onward Journey To The Cultural Capital Of The World. In The Meanwhile Prof Satapathy Retired From The Service On 31st March 2021. Here Miracle Happened.again .Because Of His Niskama Seva And Total Surrender To The Lord Of The Universe, Mahaprabhu Profusely Blessed Prof Satpathy. On 16th April 2021 Prof Satapathy Was Appointed As The Vice-Chancellor Of Kalahandi University. By Sheer Chance I Have Included Prof Satapathy In World Odisha Society (WOS) recently.
Chairman Of SJSUK Dr Swain , General Secretary Dr Dey And PR Incharge Sukant Baboo Have Been WOS’s Wellwishers Since It’s Inception. I Wish Them All The Best And Sincerely Hope That Their Sadhana Will Ultimately Be Culminated Into Sidhi And Every Odia’s Dream To See A Bhabya Shree Jagannath Mandir In The Heart Of Europe ; London Will Come True Soon.
