KORAPUT: In a vision to promote the local features film throughout undivided Koraput district Many renowned producers, Director & Actors across undivided Koraput participated the one day seminar organised at the conference hall Meeting of Hotel Madhumati.
The workshop was attended by MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati who argued all the directors producers to work united for our Koraputiya’s films, Bahinpati assured all short of helps will be given to promote our films.
Secretary Amar Mishra argued all to work united and to promote the local film while speaking to the media Mishra said we have given a no of films to the state but lack of proper infrastructure and proper support is always a obstacle and though we have a no of long and short films made in the tribal dominated district still we are unable to attract the viewers. Mishra appealed all to improve the quality and content so to attract the viewers.
The daylong seminar was a great platform for all the local Artist , Directors & Producers as these will definitely boost the local films and will help to coordinate each other and to work for more qualitative films in coming future said Himanshu Mohapatra.
Among others Jeypore Municipality Chairman Nori Mohanty, Indira Nanda, Subash rout, and other dignitaries where present. On the occasion different office bearers of KFDS are selected to strengthen the association while Rabindra Kumar Patro was elected as the president , R Raju & Suresh Hota vice president , Amar Mishra as secretary while Manoj Patnaik, Banikinkar Patnaik and Sudhir Dash as joint secretary and treasurer while a no of Producers , Directors and Actors where taken in the board. It is also decided to arrange a grand film festival in the month of December while the program was coordinated by Tarun ku Mohapatra PRO.
