BHUBANESWAR: It seems, Honeytrap blackmailer, Archana Nag is studiedly misleading the investigation on money laundering through blackmailing. If Nag’s statements were taken into account, it is evidently clear that she is misleading both State Police and as well as ED.
‘If Archana has anything, she should open up and the way she is acting, it looks like, she is buying time to cover up her misdeeds,” sources said. Archana on Tuesday hinted at involvement of some prominent and influential people in the entire episode, claiming that she has exclusive evidence against some people that is enough to change the State scenario.
Meanwhile, the architect of Archana Nag’s house Ranjit Behera deposed before Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the second time on Wednesday.
The ED had grilled Ranjit yesterday in connection with the money laundering case against the lady blackmailer. Earlier on Monday, the ED had also questioned contractor Pabitra Patra for over 12 hours, who had constructed Archana’s house in Bhubaneswar.The ED on Tuesday took Archana on a 7 day remand.
Arachana Nag Chand and her husband , Jagabandhu Chand were booked under Sections 341, 328, 324, 354 – C, 370, 386/387/388, 389, 419/420, 465, 506, 120 – B of IPC and Section 66 -E, 67 of IT Act and presently lodged at Jharpada Special Jail.
